School Clubs: Discovering Interests, Building Skills
 

At Eastwood, we believe that some of the most important learning takes place when children are free to explore what genuinely interests them. Our school clubs provide students with opportunities to step beyond the regular curriculum, pursue their passions, discover new abilities and learn alongside peers who share similar interests.
 

Each club is designed to be a space for exploration rather than pressure—a place where curiosity is encouraged, ideas are exchanged and children learn by doing.
 

Book Club
 

The Book Club brings together young readers and storytellers who share a love for the written word. Through book discussions, reading sessions, author studies, character analyses and creative activities, students explore literature beyond prescribed textbooks. The club encourages them to develop their own opinions, engage with different perspectives and discover the joy of reading simply for pleasure.
 

Eco Club
 

The Eco Club helps students develop a deeper awareness of their relationship with the environment. Its activities encourage children to understand the importance of sustainability and translate concern into action. From promoting greener habits and reducing waste to participating in plantation drives and environmental awareness initiatives, members learn that protecting the planet begins with small, conscious choices.
 

Literary and Public Speaking Club
 

For students who enjoy expressing themselves, the Literary and Public Speaking Club provides a platform to develop confidence and find their voice. Through debates, declamations, extempore speaking, discussions, creative writing and other language-based activities, students learn to think critically, articulate their ideas and speak with clarity and conviction. Just as importantly, they learn the art of listening and respecting opinions different from their own.
 

Science and Innovation Club
 

The Science and Innovation Club is for curious minds that are always asking why and how. Students engage in experiments, model-making, problem-solving activities and discussions on scientific developments and innovations shaping the modern world. The club encourages them to look at everyday problems with curiosity and creativity and to understand that science is not confined to laboratories—it is present in the world around us.
 

Art and Craft Club
 

The Art and Craft Club celebrates imagination in all its forms. Students explore different techniques, materials and styles while learning to give visual form to their ideas. Activities may range from drawing and painting to craftwork, upcycling and themed creative projects. The club also nurtures patience, attention to detail and the confidence to create without always worrying about getting everything "perfect".
 

Performing Arts Club
 

The Performing Arts Club gives students an opportunity to explore the expressive world of music, dance and performance. Through rehearsals, workshops and presentations, they develop confidence, discipline and a sense of rhythm and expression. It is also a space where students learn the importance of teamwork—for behind every memorable performance lies practice, coordination and the willingness to work together.
 

Photography and Media Club
 

The Photography and Media Club encourages students to look at the world with a more observant eye. Through photography, visual storytelling and school-based media projects, they learn how moments, people and experiences can be captured and communicated meaningfully. The club nurtures creativity while also introducing students to the responsibility that comes with presenting stories and information to others.
 

Health and Wellness Club
 

The Health and Wellness Club focuses on the importance of leading a balanced and mindful life. Through age-appropriate activities and discussions, students are encouraged to understand the value of physical well-being, emotional balance, positive relationships and healthy habits. In keeping with Eastwood's belief that kindness matters, the club also promotes empathy, self-awareness and the importance of creating a supportive community.
 

Community and Service Club
 

The Community and Service Club gives students opportunities to understand the power of contributing to the world beyond themselves. Through acts of service, awareness initiatives and community-based projects, they learn that meaningful change often begins with a willingness to notice a need and respond with compassion. The club helps nurture responsible, sensitive young people who understand that leadership is not only about achievement but also about service.

Through our clubs, students are encouraged to explore their interests, discover hidden talents and grow in confidence. More than anything, these spaces remind them that learning can be joyful, collaborative and deeply personal. At Eastwood, we want every child to have opportunities not only to excel, but also to discover what excites them, what challenges them and how they can use their abilities to make a meaningful contribution.
